ours does!i am trying to clean up my studio this week. it's really hard! i feel like i have been really busy lately but i can't say i have a lot to show for it. here are some questions i get asked a lot nowadays:
q. when is steam city 2 coming out?
a. NEVER! actually, i have no idea when it is coming out. i am casually working on it, but i am not very far. i love walter & grant et al. but there were a lot of kinks in the production of steam city #1 that i want to fix before i really dive into #2.
i am currently working on an old story i wrote in college. it features human beings. i think i got annoyed with people thinking i only knew how to draw anthropomorphic animals. well, i'll show them!
q. what new things are you working on for holiday craft fairs?
a. i am just about finished penciling a new READ poster (i'm going to make a new one every year i think) which will debut at the SPACE craft fair (which is the only craft fair i'm doing this holiday season... too stressful!) which will take place december 4th & 5th. i'm also printing samurai owl sweatshirts. they are heather gray. the shirts just came in today. other than that, expect a few new cards and all the new prints & cards that came out in the autumn are still good!
i have been trying to organize my studio a bit better. i need more shelves or something. i wish my friend myles poland would just swing by for a day & we could put up shelves! i mean, i could do it myself but for some reason it seems easier to do with a carpenter around.
i just finished (literally just finished) this postcard that you will recieve if someone gets you a gift membership to SPACE gallery!
the front is basically what SPACE might look like if it was in steam city... what did walter get grant?
and the back is some nicely hand lettered information with a light drawing on the back. i'm a sucker for pictures behind text. grant is so happy!
so... get someone a gift membership to SPACE! they are super duper.
